What We Like

There is no doubt that the URB-E is a top quality product. The following are some the aspects of this electric scooter that we like the most:

• The 20 mile range is very impressive and instantly gives the URB-E a distinct advantage over many of the other electric scooters out there. The lengthy running range makes this device perfect for those with planning to use an electric scooter for longer journeys and/or those who just don’t want to have to worry about charging the scooter on a regular basis.
• Portability is huge plus point of the URB-E. It can be carried about by hand with little discomfort due to the lightweight frame (only 35 lbs) and an easily foldable design. If you are going to be jumping on and off public transport as well as operating the scooter, then the URB-E could be a great choice for you.
• Quality Build – This is NOT a cheap quality product. Care and attention has been put into the URB-E making it a scooter that is both durable, safe and comfortable to use. The URB has been made to last and to provide the user with the best travel experience possible.
• Extra features – Some of the accessories that the URB-E offers include a cup holder, a smart phone holder, a basket and best of all, an on board USB charger. You can quite literally be charging your laptop, drinking your morning cup of coffee and travelling to work by scooter simultaneously!

 The Downsides

Of course, there are also some negative aspects to the URB-E that you should be aware of. They are as follows:

• Longer charging time – At 4-hours, the URB-E charging time is quite extensive. It isn’t the end of the world but you can find other electric scooters at half the price and charging in under half the time. Check out the –Swagger– for example.
• Expensive – As mentioned above the URB isn’t cheap, in fact it’s one of the most pricey scooters featured on eScooterman. With that said, the URB is expensive for a reason. It’s a high quality product that’s going to last the test of time.

Overall Thoughts

The URB-E could be looked at as a long term investment and not just a novelty product. There is no doubt that it is one of the best electric scooters available online at the moment but it is also one of the most expensive. You can see the current price here.
